So I'm starting to understand present tense verbs.

Pumupunta is habitual present (or simple present) for facts, repeated patterns, or habits.
Pumupunta ako sa tindahan = I go to the store (fact)
Pumupunta ako sa tindahan sa lunes = I go to the store on Monday (repeated patterns, imply that I go to the store every Monday).
