After reading this thread, I found that the verb to introduce is derived from the base kilala (know), plus the magpa- or ipa- affixes, so it literaly means to make somebody know somebody.
Patient trigger:
Ipapakilala ko ikaw sa kanya = I'll introduce you to him/her
Pinapakilala ko ikaw sa...
to introduce somebody to somebody
